Hello Folks,

We are very excited to share this concert and events update. In putting this newsletter together, we realized that an events newsletter hasn't been published since the WINTER OF 2019!!! What a long, strange trip it's been. We are beyond excited to see things slowly returning to normal as vaccination rates improve. Here in Park City fully 70% of residents have received one vaccine dose and 40% are fully vaccinated as of today. We are hopeful that Summer will be “normal and we are eagerly looking forward to warmer temperatures, sunshine, local events and music, and to have the chance to gather again.

DEER VALLEY MUSIC FESTIVAL | Snowpark Amphitheatre

Park City is Utah Symphony/Utah Opera's summer home in the mountains with a full season of chamber music, classical, and pops performances at the Deer Valley Resort. All programs subject to change given the ongoing uncertainty around the COVID-19 situation.

INEXPENSIVE FLIGHTS ANNOUNCED - CHICAGO, DALLAS, and HOLLYWOOD

Visiting Park City for our summer events lineup just got a whole lot cheaper for some travelers. Flying into Salt Lake City is now a bargain if you're flying in from Chicago, Dallas, or Hollywood-Burbank, CA. Frontier Airlines has launched non-stop flights from Chicago O'Hare and Dallas-Forth Worth starting in June. Fares will start at just $49 for Tuesday or Thursday flights. Avelo Airlines has announced nonstop flights between Hollywood-Burbank Airport and Ogden-Hinckley Airport for just $19, which is less than the UBER/Lyft ride to Park City from the airport! Also, be sure to check out Breeze Airlines for flight options. Breeze is a new Salt Lake City based upstart by David Neeleman, one of the original founders of Jet Blue. They plan to start flying early this summer.

Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter
April 24 | 10am - 4pm

Join the Swaner Preserve and Bartolo's to do some COVID safe Spring clean-up! If not removed, much of this trash ends up on the Swaner Preserve and can be dangerous for wildlife and detrimental to the functions of the wetland.

With over 50% of the US adult population having received at least one vaccination as of press time, we are guardedly optimistic about the return of our robust summer/fall events schedule. Seeing some of our iconic events back on the docket signals a path to "normalcy" that we will all welcome.

Looking back, we extend enormous gratitude to the ownership and staff at both Park City Mountain and Deer Valley® Resort (and all Utah resorts) for providing a safe and wonderful ski season, with just minor modifications to keep us safe.

The local real estate market, like the nation, is still characterized by extremely low inventory.
